Consent Agreement

In a decision dated January 6, 2026, a panel of the NANB Complaints Committee accepted a Consent Agreement between NANB and Amanda Rideout (Registration Number 031161). Ms. Rideout admitted to violating the boundaries of the nurse-client relationship by providing care to her NP colleague while she was also a patient of her NP colleague.

Ms. Rideout has voluntarily agreed to the following conditions of her registration:

1. Successfully complete remedial education related to professional boundaries in nursing; and
2. Provide each employer, including entities for whom she provides services as an independent contractor as a Nurse Practitioner, and every regulatory with which she is registered with a copy of the Consent Agreement and corresponding Complaints Committee Decision and notify NANB of any change in address or employer.
