Charlene Colwell

Consent Agreement

In a decision dated October 24, 2025, a panel of the NANB Complaints Committee accepted a Consent Agreement between NANB and Charlene Colwell (Registration Number 019950). Ms. Colwell admitted to taking a portion of her adult daughter’s medical chart from the Emergency Department (“ED”) and leaving with it, and returning the medical chart to the ED after having it in her possession for approximately 55 minutes.

Ms. Colwell has voluntarily agreed to the following conditions on her registration:

1. Successfully complete remedial education related to anger and conflict resolution in the workplace, privacy awareness, and privacy and confidentiality in health care; and
2. Provide each employer and regulatory body with which she is registered with a copy of the Consent Agreement and corresponding Complaints Committee Decision and notify NANB of any change in address or employer.
